My mom's home made lasagna. The whole thing weighs around 20lbs. God it is good!!!!

Pesto stuffed rack of lamb, Lafitte's Landing@ Bittersweet Plantation.

A grouper filet from a grouper that was barely of legal size, straight back to the camp. lightly dredged in Breadcrumbs and Cavendar's Greek Seasoning and paneed in EVOO and Butter. Perfection.

Panéed steaks of ling over pasta with some sort of lemon/butter sauce. Big ole fried softshell crab on top. Was amazing.

Had that at Commanders before. Wasnt impressed. Was more like a soup than a bread pudding.

Bummer.. I had it when the consistency was light and fluffy.. BUT.. I didn't order it right when we sat down.. I ordered it half way into the meal.

I make it home once a year for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so to me the best tasting things come from my grandmother's kitchen. Her cornbread dressing, some fried turkey, her lemon meringue pie...all of these things just blow my mind every single year. It doesn't matter how many "fine" meals I have all year long, nothing tastes as good as that to me.
