Was at Taco Bell getting my usual boring order, the lady in front of me got a Mexican pizza, hold the cheese, triple tomatoes, extra onions, half the beans…. Never heard anything like it

At BK…

Double Whopper Combo

Add cheese
Add bacon
Add extra bacon
Add extra onions

No:

Lettuce
Tomato

Onion rings instead of fries

I hope you ask for fresh fries in a drive thru. Because then are 11 people very near you that want to break your kneecaps.

Bumping this thread to share what happened to me at Arby’s yesterday. Went to the drive through and ordered the new turkey club with no lettuce, no tomato, and no mayo. Order was repeated correctly back to me and again at the window. The ticket, which was on the sandwich wrapper, also correctly indicated the order.

Unfortunately, like an idiot, I didn’t check the sandwich itself until I got home. The sandwich is also supposed to have cheese and bacon. So mine should have had turkey, bacon, and cheese only.

Instead, it had turkey and was drowning in mayo. Nothing else on the sandwich. I did not eat it (I hate mayo), nor did I go back to Arby’s.

Yes, I should have checked it before I left the parking lot. Since the order was repeated correctly to me twice, and was correct on the ticket, I relied on it more than I should have. The only person I was mad at was me.

I decided that in the future, if I have a complicated order like that, I will go inside to order and actually check it before I leave.

TL, DR: I’m an idiot for not actually checking my complicated order before I left.

It happens

It's one of the reasons I refuse to use food delivery services for fast food. Why pay a fortune when they're probably going to mess up the order anyway?

I've read a few articles about how customizations are killing the efficiency of fast food.

I'll never forget my HS friend and her mom looking at me like I had 10 heads when they both ordered highly customized stuff at McDonalds and when it was my turn I said "A #1, please".

I had no idea you could ask for things to be removed or added until I was like 17 My parents didn't do that sort of thing, so I had never seen it.

I get the steak bagel at McD's and sub round egg instead of the pos folded egg. It's glorious

I add jalapeños to most salads if it's an option.

No mustard/onions is about as custom as my orders get. Raw onions aren't my favorite, and they give me heartburn.

I won't send it back if it has either ingredient, though- I'm not 5 years old anymore, and I don't hate them, they just aren't my favorite ingredients.

No boot shaped McNuggets. They’re unnatural.
