Sweet Potato Pie vs. Pumpkin Pie

Which is better? Do they taste different enough to even matter? Not to me, but I choose pumpkin pie, because I usually get tired of eating sweet potatoes this time of year.
Shut up, kid! Go eat your hard/soft tacos. The point is to make an argument for one over the other.

Sounds tasty. I like pumpkin rolls!
Tonight, I made a fruit dip by mixing together cream cheese and marshmallow creme. Twas good. I wonder how that would taste in that pumpkin roll? I like pineapple, but I'd be tempted to try it maraschino cherries or mix of both. You got my brain ticking.

Neither appeals to me for some reason. I’ll eat them if presented, though.

I love both; it just depends on whether I'm more in the mood for sweet or go with pumpkin for a little more bite.

Strictly pies, Pumpkin for me. I make a couple every fall.
Sweet potato I'd rather go with a casserole, and not topped with a marshmallow mess. Or just a baked sweet potato with a touch of brown sugar and butter. Or sweet potato fries. Or sweet potato waffle fries.

Sweet Potato and pecan are the best in the world followed by all the fruit pies.

They are similar, but sweet potato pie is slightly sweeter and slightly more cinnamon/nutmeg flavored.
So I am not sure how anyone can like pumpkin pie more
