How is Tsunami?

Tsunami is solid, especially on a Tues night because they have specials

Koto is at the top of my list right now. Sushi Yama has great food but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired.

Heres the real question...Hows the prices

Tsumami is fine for going out. It is far from the top for sushi.

I always liked Kamados on Bennington (sp?)when I lived there.

I like Ichiban for creative rolls. Hello Sushi is good but they have a lot of mayo-based rolls. Koi is good for the fish quality (most days), not the rolls. IMO Tsunami isn't great. I like their mashed potatoes a lot more than their sushi.

I eat sushi once a week so I have tried lots of places. Rock n Sake, Ichiban, and sushi Yama are my top 3 with Waka house closing in on my top 3. I like Koto too but its a little more pricey. I also enjoyed Wahada when I lived on that side of town.

I forgot about this place

If you go to Rock N Sake you must get the grilled yellowtail appetizer. It's olnly and 8 bucks and may be one of the best apps in Baton Rouge. I have to get it everytime.
