Sakura is the only reason I would ever go to Denham Springs.

Good to see someone using that high quality imitation Krab for a change.

Here's krab sashimi from Osaka in Lafayette.
Check out the length of the daikon. Looks like the turning vegetable slicer was on the fritz this day. So sad. And this is a pic they're proud enough to display on their website.
If anyone's interested, here's their recipe:
Ingredients:
1 8oz package of Louis Kemp fake krab sticks
Directions:
Open package of fake krab, being careful not to cut yourself while opening.
Use only half the package, reserving the other half for future fake krab roll attempts.
Slice each fake krab stick on the diagonal.
Arrange artfully on a plate and serve (see diagram)
Serves 2

LSUsmartass swears up and down that the best sushi roll in BR is the deep fried steak one at Tokyo Cafe

Not fair to mention Waka House here on the day they're closed.
...and why IS an Asian restaurant closed on Sundays? Traditionally that's the Asian day to dine out.

Because the majority of Asian restaurant patrons here aren't Asian.

Clearly...
But then again, might as well say the entirity of the Asian restaurants here aren't really serving real Asian cuisine either.

Around Florida Blvd. or elsewhere?

And hence this is the best non-Louisiana authentic cuisine offered en masse in the Baton Rouge area.
I'd give a nickel for every time someone mentioned that they wish they had a bowl of Pho in front of them...and I'd gladly pay ten bucks to have a bowl of it in front of me right now.

I'm still getting used to (culture shock) Baton Rouge demographics.

Florida? 80% vietcong
That's sort of like saying 40% of BR are Nazis.
