Wife and i would like to celebrate our 10 year this year with a very good romantic dinner in NO.
Just curious what some suggestion would be for a nice, quiet , elegant dining experience. We are leaning towards August since its been a few years since we have been.
Places we would exclude because we have been there recently (GW fins, peche, commanders, Luke, Justine).
thanks in adavance.

Was my favorite fine dining until Besh got outed as a shitmutt. I haven't been able to bring myself there since, but I've been tempted. Fantastic food!
Toof is correct about Brigstens. Small, quiet and absolutely killer food.

August, Clancy's or Brightens are all great options.

N7 is uniquely different than anything going in the city right now. With this cooler weather you could have a beautiful, romantic night there.

I'll chime in with some that haven't been mentioned and I think are more romantic than some mentioned:
Luvi
Gautreau's
Patois
Lilette
Saffron if you like Indian

Had a great meal at Lilette last weekend. Walked next door to Bouligny Tavern for drinks afterwards.

Lots of good suggestions in here. I have had several meals at Brigsten’s over the last few years. Food has always been very good. Maybe it’s just me, but I find the decor very dated. And the bar selection and wine list is very limited. These things detract from the experience some. At least for me.

It’s ashame cause Rizzutos is good but your vehicle will get robbed in the lot across the street

Had a mediocre ribeye there not long ago. Don’t feel any need to return.

Rizzutos has a “new” chef from Italy, supposed to be 10x better than when they opened
