I agree and submit that 6th should be DQ'd as he did not cook a hotdog - but a sausage.

No. The effort and technique he used to make his franks was impressive.
Hot dog - a frankfurter served on a bun
Frankfurter - A smoked sausage of beef or beef and pork made in long reddish links.
Looks like it qualifies...

Smoked Hot Dog BBQ Pizza
I was excited for this challenge because I thought my mini sous-chef would be all over this. But apparently he doesn't like hot dogs anymore, so I made a "fancy" adult pizza.
Ingredients.
I like white sauce on my pizza, so opted for a homemade white BBQ sauce.
Not going to lie, it turned out really good. Made extra to bring our friends a jar for Labor Day.
Caramelizing onions.
Smoking the hot dogs with gameday chicken. Credit to Boo for this one, I don't know how to use the smoker, nor do I touch raw chicken.
Bonus dog picture of Sir Droops a lot. He had ear ablation surgery and his ear just hangs now.
Getting the TJ's pizza crust ready to go. I don't think they ever cook properly, but I don't have time to make my own dough.
Smoked dogs.
Assembly time.
Final product. The picture isn't great, but it was game day and I had been having mimosas. Overall it was actually really good. I was going to go get nicer hot dogs for this, but decided to just use the ones my child now doesn't eat that were in the fridge.

What did you contribute to this competition, sir? Can we have your detailed analysis of what constitutes a “hot dog” as pertaining to this particular competition?

Hot dog enchiladas. I got sidetracked and didn’t pay attention to the oven so the edges got a little burnt.

These are, that's why I haven't been in one in a bit I just haven't had time. Its fun when I do tho!
I have the time and enjoy participating, but I just don't have the equipment to make my own hot dogs and assumed everyone would be entering with homemade ones.
And like Jax said, I couldn't think of any other sort of dish that would be improved by the addition of dogs.
That said, food posted so far looks great.

Crispy Hot Dogs in Four Coatings: Crushed Nacho Cheese, Parmesan, Pork Panko, Powdered Shrimp
The bread is low carb/keto friendly, as are the four coatings and the dipping sauces.
Besides bread, ingredients include sliced cheese, eggs, wieners, Pop’s Golden Gems shrimp powder, Parmesan cheese, pork panko, and Quest nacho cheese tortilla chips (crushed). Originally, I’d hoped to use crushed pistachios as one of the coatings, but then realized I only had pistachios in shells on hand and no time to shell them.
After removing the crusts from the bread, roll it out flat with a rolling pin.
Seedless bread would’ve been better. Life goes on. Flatten that shite.
I missed taking a photo of the next step. Place a slice of cheese on the flattened bread, with a trimmed hot dog on top of the cheese, and roll it up.
Dip the bread dog in the egg and then dredge in the coating of your choice.
Fry in hot oil, turning until all sides are golden.
Left to right, crushed nacho chip coating, Parmesan coating, shrimp powder (more like little strands), and then pork panko.
My favorite of the four was this crushed nacho cheese chip with sriracha mayo dipping sauce.

OK. I have to give an up vote just for having a buffalo chopper.
Corn-dogs look good also.

It ain't over yet. I'm doing mine again after the accident. I have until 9 am tomorrow morning. I'm cooking with anger and passion. Love has no place here.
