I need to make this food related.

Lots of my TD-F&DB friends are from Louisiana. How did you guys make out in the bad rain this last week? Worried about you. did anyone get flooded out?

Dry so far at Otis' joint! Thousands in and around Mecca are not so lucky though.

Some of your south Louisiana friends were extremely fortunate in the weather department.

Over 24 inches and increasing as this ink hits the paper. Geauxt pen still dry, but can't go far without seeing bad sights,,,,, in fact, can't go far in any direction.

I think I'll open the big box, start putting tax things in piles, there's nothing else to do.

Not even 2" rain in my neck of the woods. Know of plenty who were hammered incl around Leesville, which isn't generating much media attention. I feel esp bad for those St Bernard transplants to St Tammany and Tangi who are enduring yet another total loss flood.

Lots of rain and very wet, but no water in the Gris home. I have spirits protecting the area.

I just saw some pictures of St. Joseph Abbey in Covington. So much water. So sad. It's a beautiful place.

Otis, you're in Monroe? You probably know some friends of mine. You from there?

Our camp came shockingly close to flooding. My parents went yesterday and pulled all the furniture out. Looks like it wasn't necessary, but it was close.
