I don’t think I have ever had this. Since the price of groceries is getting stupid, I plan on giving it a try. What are some ways to fix it? Slice it and skillet fry like bologna?

That’s a good question. Maybe this should be our next food board challenge.

If you can’t enjoy a spicy spam sandwich with mustard, then you just don’t like good food.

Used to eat it sliced thin and fried in skillet. Served with Mac and cheese. Damn good. My wife won’t let me cook it in the house. I’ve been debating getting some to try and smoke

My dad loved Spam and made this often for us kids. Fried Spam and Kraft Mac n Cheese. Mom hated him for it, but we would tear that ish up. He would also make us Spam burgers and use it for breakfast. I haven’t had it in years. I think it’s time to throw some on my kids.

My dad R.I.P. used to slice it and bake it in the oven and then pull it out and cover it with a mustard and brown sugar glaze and then cook it a little longer in the oven. Served with mac and cheese and buttered lima beans. Have not had it since he passed in 96.

Good call. Can't believe I forgot this one. Going out and getting some Spam this weekend. No one in my house will eat it but me.

I've had it many years ago and didn't like it one bit.

I'm not a fan of "Mystery Meat" products, and that includes Potted Meat and Vienna Sausage.

They used to have the Spamarama Festival in Austin.

There are several Spam cookbooks...

Fun fact. My dad was a supply officer in the Navy and traded an Army supply officer a couple hundred steaks for several hundred cases of spam. He said the sailors never complained.
He also got 3 new Winchester model 12 shotguns in the deal.
