My wife saw this on Nextdoor and decided to give it a shot. It was a good amount of food for $30 and everything was fresh.

No tip or delivery fees. The guy rang our doorbell and waved from the truck when he was driving off. Just figured I'd share for people that don't want to fight the crowds at the store.

I worked there for a bit in college, and the family that owns it is extremely nice and their produce is top notch. I would definitely use this service if I still lived there.

I love Southside. Almost did this last week, but we don't eat fruit and I hate to have a bunch of fruit going to waste. Great idea though.

I doubt it. We didn't really care. I'm sure they build in their costs to deliver them all over town. I've got no problem with that.

My kid eats a lot of fruit so we figured it would save us a trip to the store.

Owner's son (the tall guy who runs the perkins location) is a good buddy of mine. They are good people.

We did this too this week. Same day delivery and no contact with driver. Very fresh produce and fruits, highly recommend. Will order another and will definitely use them more after all this passes. Great people.

That's a great value. We have been doing the boxes from different farms in NOLA and for roughly the same price not getting nearly the amount.

Loved going there when I was living in BR, always had some good stuff.

Just an FYI they do book up pretty far in advance so make sure you take this into account. We tried to order on a Wednesday for Friday delivery, and they were already booked through the next Monday or Tuesday. I’m glad to see local places getting lots of business though.

I say this everytime i leave there. I can leave with a basket full of produce for $20. And it's good quality.
