So you can customize the spicy chicken biscuit at Chick-fil-A

I rarely eat breakfast but this Friday I decided to start off with the Lord's chicken. I was sitting in line and looking at the menu on my phone when I realized you could fully customize their sandwiches.
Ordered the spicy chicken biscuit (pleasant employee told me there was a 10 minute wait for biscuits anyway) and asked to add egg and cheese and to have it on an English muffin. Came out to like 80 cents more and was infinitely better.
Anyway, that's my tip for a Friday

Adding egg and cheese takes them to a different level. Agreed.

I don't go to CFA but maybe once a year. Happened to go a few weeks ago and the roaming order taker was surprised that I didn't know what to order since I couldn't see the menu.
I guess hardcore CFA people know their order.
Ordered a spicy chicken biscuit, but meant to order those little miniature biscuits. Couldn't see the menu to get it right.

These are kind of the worst. I mean I get why they do it but they come to your vehicle and want your order immediately. I'm like you in that I don't go enough to really have a go-to order.
I kind of like my ordering to be faceless on the rare times I get fast food

This happened to us as well, when we stopped at one in Madisonville on the way out of town. They wanted you to place your order before you got to the menu area, and I don't know the menu. I panic-ordered a chicken sandwich and was very disappointed to learn this thing comes with just chicken on bread and a couple of pickles.
Apparently there's a different sandwich that has your toppings on it, but it also comes with no condiments. Strange.

Lesson learned for sure. I love fried chicken sandwiches, but I feel like mayo (or some sort of mayo based sandwich sauce) is a must.
We drove off and I opened my sandwich of just bread and chicken and was so sad we had already left.

Their app is the best. It is where I learned they had colby jack cheese. The Bacon egg n cheese biscuit but sub in colby jack is great.

I agree there is definitely a learning curve. They do ask you what sauces you want, and that's when you ask for Mayo. But I don't think they will even put it directly on the sandwich, they just give you packets.
Their Mac and Cheese is pretty darn good too.

The only thing I like those on is the egg white grill. But even then I sub in a whole egg instead of the whites.

I did. She was trying to show me on her ipad thing. Wasn't like looking at the whole menu normally in a drive thru.
Also had my Dad as passenger and trying to work that was an adventure to say the least.

To be fair there was a 10 minute wait for biscuits and I like a breakfast sandwich that hold together when I bite into it. Not a crumbly dry biscuit.

Since I’m keto I’ll add the egg and cheese and then I’ll eat the chicken egg and cheese and then I’ll chew and spit the bisquit and hash browned potats
