French Bread? A salad?
It's kind of one of those meals that doesn't need a side.

I’m cooking some green beans too. French bread would be a good side, kids love bread.

Some peas maybe? Purple hull, blackeye, field, etc?
Green beans are a good choice.

We make Lima beans or peas (no roux) for the veggie and a regular green salad. We eat rice with the sauce piquant, so we don’t do a starch. Pecan or apple pie with ice cream for dessert. This is at the camp.
