I saw a cast iron one you use on the stove top at an antique store a few weeks ago. Kinda looked like a PITA to use though. No hinges on it to remove the top cover easily.

You talking that old fashioned? It was only $10, but had some rust on it.

Just get married. Then you‘ll have a “multi-purpose“ waffle maker

Don’t need it to actually be old just of a good quality similar to the old ones.

the best waffle maker I’ve had a waffle from is from the 1970’s. Makes little square waffles. Always crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

The All-Clad version has been well worth it and will last a lifetime.

Seriously. Growing up my parents had a waffle maker that was about 10" x 10" and thin. Cast iron plates you could remove and clean. Probably got it around the 70s or early 80s. I'd strangle an OT poster to get one like that.

Whatever they have at the Hilton brand hotels. I love Hilton Waffles.

The only time I heard my mother cuss growing up is when she was cleaning the waffle maker on a Saturday morning.

I’d rather go to Waffle House or IHOP
Or just do without waffles

Just gotta find one that flips like they always have in hotels. Those always make the best waffles.
