wife and I are taking our daughters to New Orleans for a couple of days and I’d like a few recommendations. We’re both from LA and been to New Orleans countless times but not in several years.
The kids are 10 and 11, but they won’t keep us from going somewhere nice and the in-laws will be with us. So, we’ll have a party of 6.
I’ve been looking on Yelp but wanted to get the Food Board’s input.
Some places I’ve thought of and would like your opinions....Mr. B’s, Palace Cafe, Galliano’s(warehouse district), Royal House, KPauls.

I’ve never been disappointed at Palace Cafe

There are lots of solid choices including the restaurants on your list. I’m partial to GW Fins (amazing fresh fish meals) and K-Paul’s (Cajun/creole based dishes).

Second GW Fins, one of the most consistently good restaurants in the city IMO.
I'll also add Italian Barrel to the mix. Not really New Orleans food but their pasta dishes are great.

NOLA was always a fine place with our boys.

I'll give you a dessert place; Bakery Bar. Kids will love it

Cavan on Magazine will accommodate you with the kids.

I would do Jack Rose. Really cool place that the kids will be comfortable in. We had a meal there last weekend that was excellent.

Are any of these places going to be open this weekend? It's the annual "Closed for repairs" weekend.

If you will be in town on a Saturday or Sunday, the jazz brunch at Commander's would be fun for all.

Warehouse is in between those two neighborhoods and has a lot of good restaurants as well. There are a lot of choices these days. I'd give the eater.com lists a look over.
