Looking at hitting up a few breweries in NOLA this month. Been to most, but I wanted to get this boards opinion on the breweries based on taste, quality, atmosphere and location.

Looking at:

NOLA
Port Orleans
Urban South
Second Line
The Courtyard Brewery
Crescent City Brewhouse
Brieux Carré Brewing Company
Others I Missed

TIA

All Relation is the shite, but I haven't been so impressed with Zony Mash. I like Miel and Parleaux better.

Urban South can pump out some brews. Not a fan of the crowds inside

Courtyard makes some of the best. Not a fan of the owner

I really like Parleaux's brews and Brieux Carre but I never seem to go to either.

Nola is Good but Urban South just down the street has more options

Gnarly Barley is top notch and keeps me from going to the Southshore.

No it isn’t he hasn’t gotten approval someone filed some type of complaint on him. I Believe the Hearing is today.

All relation is the best imo.

Miel
Urban South
All Relations
Zony Mash

I would rank Courtyard pretty high as the beer is good but the owner is such an absolute unmitigated a-hole douche bag that I just can't separate the two.

All Relation and Zony Mash are putting out my favorite beers currently. All Relation is also a really cool place with a good atmosphere, IMO.

Zony Mash Beer Project in the old Wayward Owl space on Thalia is the best. The others are scrapping around amongst themselves.

All Relation for sure is my number 1. I would rank it as a top 3 brewery in the state.

All Relation
Miel
Parleaux
Courtyard
Urban South

I haven't been impressed with the beers I have had from Zony Mash, especially the IPA's

It's almost as if people don't even consider them amongst the "local" breweries anymore, but their beer may actually be better than Second Line or Port Orleans.

Went to ZM Sunday for the first time. It was surprisingly dead despite them having a crawfish boil. Beers were good. I probably like all relation’s beers more but splitting hairs. Courtyard has historically made my favorite beers. Looking forward to trying their new location if it ever opens. Nola for sours and US for hoppy beers. Parleaux is also one of my favorites. Miel is solid across the board. brieux carre has nice people but have always thought their beers were underwhelming

I’ve not been to port orleans or second line

Don't care how good his beer might be, I won't go here because of him.

I haven't been to many of the Nola breweries but of the have I have been to:

Parleaux's
Port Orleans
Miel

I forgot to add that Zony Mash is really good but definitely overpriced.

They do a great Happy Hour with HH tacos too!

Courtyard is the best beer.
All Relation is very good
NOLA has good stuff but the taproom is very boring. It looks like a hundred other taprooms I've been in.

Urban South is ok
Zony Mash is ok
Miel tries to do different stuff but they don't quite pull it off. Some of it is downright nasty.
