Is all this stuff happening between the city and Zony going to affect that pop-up?

No, the popups aren't affected. Looks like the special pie this week is the Spicy Meatball - which happens to be one of my favorite specials

Place is garbage. Cracklins are hard as rocks and the rest of the food is not that great...

Classic 1 is onsale for $599 and 2 for $799 but you'd need to pick up in Slidell...

Classic 1 $599

Classic 2 $799

They brew a wide variety of styles for everyone. If you're that close go stop in and try a few and decide for yourself!

I'm a huge fan of their sours and the IPAs are starting to get better and better as he dials them in. King of Carrot flowers and Buggin Out are two favorites as far as sours go.

Happy Hour from M-F 4-6 is a good deal cause it is a tad on the pricey side normally, but I like to support local small businesses.

Also, Taco Cat is killing the tacos there! Happy Hour prices on those too. I am not so much into vegetarian food, but his veggie tacos are absurdly delicious. Guac is some of the better that I've had as well.

re: el pavo real (NOLA)

El Pavo Real is one of the best Mexican spots in the city. Go for breakfast and try the chilaquiles and add carnitas or brisket (if they have it on special)

Amazing house made corn tortillas, fantastic margaritas ...and that popcorn!!!

Just look at those yolks.

Those yolks look pretty, but overcooked for a benny...need to be runny!
Ohhh, I didn't even realize it was free shipping if you spend $50. Nice!!

Funny cause I found the website by Googling the seller on Amazon

re: Best chicken dishes in NOLA

Best chicken dish I've had was at Saint-Germain in NOLA. It was with fermented greens, blanquette and BBQ Tomatoes. Holy shite. Their menu changes monthly though.
Believe they still have one Popeye's that does a buffet left in Lafayette...
