Rally Cap Brewery - Really good beer

I went to the grand opening a month or 2 back. I guess I didn’t notice the flavor as it was kinda hot inside, packed, and I was filling my self with a Cuban sandwich from the food truck (which was great), but at the time I thought it was ok. Good beer but sort of the same as the rest of the hazy IPAs.
I recently had first pitch and drinking exit velocity now and they are fantastic. For my tastes, first pitch is better than anything else I’ve had so far. Not overly minerally, great fruitiness and aroma, and perfect mouthfeel. Many breweries are so heavy on the mouthfeels that the hops aren’t even perceptible (are we still doing Citra as an example). I have a Crowley of their raspberry/ strawberry “big red machine” that I’ll be trying this weekend. Highly recommend!

The 5 vs 12 was really good too!

I'm drinking some Big Red Machine now. It's really good. Not too sweet with a good sour finish. I also like the 5 vs 12.

I've had First Pitch a couple of times recently and yes it is fantastic.

I've only had the First Pitch Pale Ale, and I thought it was just ok. A good beer but not worth the $13 for a 4pack.
Have not been able to make it to the brewery bc we were told they are not kid friendly. But, looking forward to getting there and trying some of their other offerings bc I've heard good things

Been wanting to get some of their stuff for a month now. Gonna have to head over there soon for sure

100% agree. They aren't as crazy experimental as Gilla, which honestly is refreshing in this day and age of beer.
I had First Pitch a while back and I remember liking it.
Exit Velocity is a little more bitter than most NEIPAs, which I enjoy. Sometimes I'll pick up a jucifer and it just ends up tasting like a heavy water that smells like hops. So it's nice to get some hop bitterness IMO, but I can understand if people think it's too bitter.
I've also had Day Game, and I thought it was a really solid cream ale. It's great to have another local option for the summer that's crisp and light.

You all should have had the Green Monster that was put out on St Patty's day it was delicious and different from pretty much any IPA I've ever had as it had a mint finish to it.

I am more of a neat whiskey guy, having said that, their Oatmeal Stout is excellent.

What are some places to get cans or to-go crowlers of Rally Cap currently? I had First Pitch crowler from Rotolo's last week and really enjoyed it.

They had cans at Harvest and Calandros recently

$20 for 4 beers seems excessive.

Good beer, but needs more sports cozy atmosphere. Live music too

I mean, it's not like they've had all that much opportunity to evolve

I understand that. But most of the Hazy beers i've had recently have been very meh. Rally cap was the first hazy beer i've had in a long time that was really good.
