Still grinding. I think I've made some new eating habits that I can sustain for the long term.

Even if it doesn't result in instant weight loss, it should have a positive health impact.

Dude, you've already dropped 100lbs. What's 40 more? You got that

All of you guys, I highly suggest you search for biolayne on youtube. Dr Layne Norton. Guy is extremely smart and has a ton of video's on dieting, losing fat, and doing it right vs wrong. Some of his videos have lifters as the key subject group, but many of the videos pertain to everyone and anyone.
Just a suggestion.

And seriously Hulk, you've kept the weight off. That is a big deal!

I've been busy these past few days.

Thank you for introducing his videos to me. His metabolic damage video is particularly intriguing to me. I've always wondered if the struggles I have losing weight since I lost the biggest majority of it could be caused by something like what he's described. When I first started dieting, I was very, very restrictive and would eat maybe 1500 cals/day max. I did that for about a year.. I upped it to 1800 eventually because I was working out, and now I do 2000. Any more and I put on weight, particularly if I eat 100-150g carbs/day. I will put on weight. I find that I have to eat maybe ~1500-1800 cals/day to lose weight, but drop carbs to 50-75g carbs. Then I'm never full, always hungry, want to binge, etc. Someone my height and weight should have no problems losing weight at 2500 cals/day with the working out I do.

Hit a new low today. I think I broke through the (non)plateau I've had.

His video's are awesome. His latest one is very motivational. And he describes everything in a way that's it fairly easy to understand. No matter who you are.
The metabolic damage video is a great one. I know tons of people who have done this without even knowing. I was on the verge of doing it before I found some great educational material that changed my perspective.
And, the sad thing, many "trainers" out there are giving terrible advice that causes this damage.
Watch his "Is Your Weight loss Diet Making You Fatter" video. #23 I think. Then his Reverse Dieting one. #24.
How much protein are you taking in per day?

And keep up the great work man. You're killing it.

That's like four whole chickens and a diet coke.
