So and So. I think it's mostly water. When I cheat it's usually restaurant food which is carb and salt loaded. Don't freak out. I did the same thing once and then lost 4 lbs in 2 days of no carb and cardio.

Finally got on the scale this morning. Not good but I think I'm mentally ready to get back into it. Off work last week and then football weekend I had too many salty, malty , starchy cheats.

Do you have to post your numbers in order to participate here? NO ONE knows my numbers! At least I'm now closer to my driver's license weight than I have been in years.

It helps keep most people honest. Not only with us but with themselves. If you aren't comfortable with posting your numbers, there's no rule that you have to

Darla it is what it is. By posting your numbers and seeing them, it will motivate you to make a change. I think for most of us seeing those numbers in print is an eye opener. When you start losing it is also a good feeling to post new lows. Everyone here is very encouraging and helpful. It's good your thinking about it and that's the first step. Good luck!

My AC went out this morning. I think I'm gonna lose weight just from sitting on my couch sweating my arse off. Stupid apartment complex has an 'emergency' contact number, but never answered the phone nor returned my messages.

H, a small window unit is about $100 and is worth every penny. saved us during the storm. Family is tired of my "no a/c" in Hodges and Pentagon dorms story. Three yrs of sweaty bliss.

first post since 8/5. I was at 218/177.6/175 then. A few weeks ago my wife got put on bedrest at 28 weeks with our 2nd (a boy). She then got put in the hospital at 29 weeks and stayed through the hurricane. She is home now and doing well, but still on bedrest. So, needless to say, my priorities have shifted dramatically.

I only made it through a week of P90x before time became and issue and I couldn't continue on. It's really hard to do P90x with a 20 month old at your feet. And, now, throw in the hurricane and we haven't eaten great. So, I'm trying to get back on the bandwagon, though I know it'll be hard.

This morning:
218/183.1/175

I'm gonna try to go low carb this week and maybe even do a fast (probably on Friday). We'll see how it goes. It sucks that I gained 5 lbs this last month. But, it could have been much worse, based on what I've eaten.

I do. It keeps me honest and lets me know if I'm in a rut.

I do. I've tried once a week, but I'm too nosy and curious to not weight. Sometimes I actually weigh before bed too, just because I like to see the difference between the hours that I sleep

Thanks for the welcomes. I weighed this morning and I am for sure not ready to post numbers. Sorry. I would like to see how I look after a 20 lb loss and then decide if I will go for 30.

I read through some of this thread (couldn't do it all) and y'all have done some impressive work! Kudos.

I am doing a high protein, low carb diet, but not really Atkins. I try to stay away from all white carbs as much as I can. Rice, potatoes, pasta, bread, sugar. I am eating more healthfully than I have in years, but it doesn't mean I am without sin. Carb sin, that is. Like an addict one false move with the wrong carbs and all I want are more, more, more.

This might seem like a dumb idea, but I have recently bought some small plates. Salad plates, I guess (I already had some, but they weren't exactly right). I like that it looks like a full plate once I've served myself!

Well its been awhile since you have seen me or received any sort of Lloyd Braun Report. But I have refatted quite a bit and am sad to report that I am back over 250.

279.8/254.6/175

This week, I have gotten in 4 workouts (including one before work!!) and downloaded myfitnesspal to track calories (a switch from WW). Hopefully I can finally get back on track. Onward and downward!
