I had a better no cheat weekend than last weekend. This time I had no cheats and kept the calories low. I dropped a little more.

Man my body wants to hold onto weight.. I know I cheated Saturday night but I had a great week otherwise. Maybe I really should severely limit intake to 1500/day.. I know when I first started I struggled to hit that mark and over time it's gotten easier and easier..

eta also cad.. I got some coconut water and drank some before bed saturday night.. no hangover, no dehydration water weight loss.. That stuff is awesome. It doesn't taste phenomenal but it's good.

After reaching 205 I gained some back. Had a good weekend and had a great week of running. New long run established, 8 miles for a time of 1 hour 16 minutes or a 9:24 pace. Won't be long before training for marathon starts.

mystery success. No cheats other than a couple of slice and bake CC cookies that wandered too close. I'll take it.

Ok guys, for the next three weeks I'm doing precooked/prepackaged meals for portion and quality control. What are y'alls suggestions on recipes?

holy crap.

but you konw..its all good. you're confessing..you're here..and that will keep you honest.

its much easier to stress about 10-15 lbs than 50+. you know what to do..I know what to do..paying attention will save your arse.

i'm 193 today. its not a "good" 193 if you konw what i mean..too much drinking and hanging with the gf that is keeping me incredibly distracted and not enough time training getting ready for this weekend's race. i have seriously got to get some riding in this week.

hulk - awesome on coconut water! that stuff is amazing..its not as good as coconut milk because it comes from green 'non ripe' coconuts..but i totally dig the taste and the potassium and electrolytes you get from it far outweigh the negatives.

Well I cheated for about a week straight and now i'm back. The damage wasn't that bad.

Today is my last day off from work and being back at work will help me get back in routine. I did nothing last week. My run today was nice though. Maybe a week off has done my body some good. This last weekend was my last big planned distraction for the year so now I'm focused on 245 and ultimately 205.

Oh I wanted to throw this out - I ran my fastest mile yet.. 13:54.. I jogged about 3/4s of the mile in total. jogged 2 quarter miles and a .15 and a .9. I can't wait to run the full thing without stopping..

You got this! Keep up the hard work and you will surprise yourself on how far you will eventually be able to go. To keep yourself honest, you should look up some 5k races down the road and sign up for one. Knowing that you have to run one will eliminate those days when you don't feel like training. Keep me updated on the progress and if you think there is anything that I can help you out on I'll be glad to throw in my $0.02

If I'm ever famous.. it's gonna be for being a kick arse IT guy. And there are no famous IT guys.

eta

I found my most comfortable pace I think.. 5 mph. I doubled the amount of time per run interval. I did .65 of a mile without stopping. I'll have a full mile knocked out in no time.

I found a negative side effect to my weight loss. I went to the bulldog for a friends birthday today. I had 2 pints of IPA's and I have a buzz. I can no longer drink. On top of that I had fried chicken fingers and split cheese fries with my wife. Damnit, it's getting out of control.

I walk at 3mph, smartass. so yeah I could (and do). 5 mph is still a jog. A much much more comfortable jog than 5.5, believe it or not. I found the pace I should be going.

Congrats on the running Hulk. I know the day I did 20 minutes straight on couch to 5k I learned that pacing myself was the most important thing.

First day back at work.

Oh yeah, the diet should hit high gear now. My wife started doing south beach and that's basically paleo at the beginning so this makes things so much easier. Honestly, if I lived alone and didn't have to worry about feeding her too things would be easier from a diet perspective.

Welcome back Weagle , good to hear your vacation didn't put you too far in the hole. I am starting one Sat, so I'm trying to bust out a good week this week
225/180/175
All time new low. If I can break into the 170's this week, psychologically it will be huge. I've been messing around in the low 80's toooo long. I've been steady on my workouts and have been pushing a little harder every few weeks lately
