I'm alive! The stress of hosting Thanksgiving at my house must have caused me to lose 3 pounds bc I weighed 145 Thanksgiving morning. Well I weighed myself this morning and was back at 148. We did throw away all the casseroles, dips and desserts except one choc pecan pie. We saved turkey and a small thing of dressing, which I might go ahead and throw away tonight. I should prob throw away the pie too. it's so rich that I haven't eaten a whole piece, just pulled the pecans off randomly and eaten them. I feel like I had a sour cream, mayo overload on thanksgiving. Every single casserole called for large quantities of sour cream or mayo!

eta: think I'll have carrot sticks for dinner!

Back to being good today. I won't know until Friday when I weigh in if I did any damage over the holidays. Good luck everyone in getting motivated again!

This mornings weigh-in 232.4/215.2.

Didn't have to worry about Thanksgiving since i stayed in OKC and had work Friday morning.

At the end of Week 6 start of seven I have averaged a loss of 2.8 lbs a week, since I have started tracking what I ate. Still have not been able to stick to the exercise regimen as good though.

323/232.7

Back to about the spot I was before T-Giving so no real long term damage.

Had a bunch of hiccups in November with the college roommate visit, friends and t-giving. Hopefully, I can head back to the hermit cave and get some good work done in December before Christmas.

I am going to bust my already busted arse trying to lose 12 pounds between now and the end of the year. Not going to happen, but I am going to try.

I was five pounds up as of Saturday but it's about gone now. I ate a lot last week but walked many many miles around the city so I kind of kept in check. After the game Saturday I have only eaten salads and water and exercised a lot. It's a good feeling as I was feeling bloated and slow. Had some good wine last week but that will be in check as well. Only have maybe three social events planned for the holidays so cocktailing won't be much of a problem and for me that makes a big difference.

I think that would be ok. Some of the most healthiest people I know have a glass a night.

Have hit a plateau here. My calorie counts really have not gone up much but I'm not losing. Probably averaging about 1400 a day where I was doing around 1100.

Just gotta keep on keeping on.

It's not a question of health for me it's hunger. L
I drink, I eat.

Yeah, booze definitely kicked my hunger up a notch and of course it also makes your willpower disappear.

I'm alive and well, been very busy with a couple of term papers and some other school work though. Put on 6 lbs over Thanksgiving-Sunday. Spent the weekend in BR and had a shite load to drink Friday(The Bulldog) and Saturday(Dark Rum) and didn't eat well(bar food, BBQ, and seafood gumbo). I've been back on the diet since Sunday night and I weighed in at 224.8 this morning. Gonna keep everything in check until Christmas for sure.

9.9 pounds to go and I will have actually hit the ludicrous end of year goal I set back on March 15th.

I'm going to go full Atkins again for this month just to change the metabolism up a bit.

Gained 5 last week during Thanksgiving. Didn't exercise and hung out with friends and family. I didn't go crazy on food, but didn't count calories either.

I've lost 2 of those since Monday, so I'm back on track.

I just discovered the best gum ever. It's Wrigley's Extra Dessert Delights in 3 different flavors - Mint Chocolate Chip (like the ice cream), Strawberry Shortcake & Key Lime Pie. Has anyone else tried it? It has 5 calories and is so good!
