Hulk - you don't like Auburn?
I thought you sounded better than most callers.
I have sent a copy to the last 3 posters.
Can I get a copy, too, please?

Thanks!
Is it too late to get a copy? If not, my e-mail is mscatherineg@aol.com. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear the fish tacos were mediocre. Actually, theirs are the best I've had in Birmingham. My favorites are at Baja Fresh - but there isn't one in Birmingham. I truly hope you weren't disappointed with the choice. I really like the place.

Great. Go to Brookwood Mall. There's a really good mexican restaurant there called Cocina Superior. They make their own chips & the salsa is really good, too. I think it's possible the best mexican restaurant in town. It's not actually in the mall. Just free standing directly in front of it (they've tried to make it like an "open air" mall environment. Good luck. I hope you enjoy.

What kind of food do you like? What area of town?

Big Chipper: When I started this WOE my doctor gave me some good advice. If you get off the eating plan, don't try to make up for the extra calories by starving yourself. Instead, just start again and keep going. Best of luck!

It gets easier over time, I think. Now, that I've introduced exercise into the equation, I find it is much easier to stay on track. I have noticed that I don't have as many cravings for bad foods, too.

Good idea about the water - I'll try it. I'm also going to try to treat them like Lay's potato chips - knowing that I can NOT eat just one.

Help! The 3 huge cans of pistachios arrived today from our client! When it was announced, I promptly trotted (like a little pig) to the kitchen to get some & have made 3 trips back this afternoon. I have asked people to say "Fattie fattie, 2 by 4" if they see me there anymore. Any advice? I'm OOC - they are a major temptation. :banghead:
Ham & pineapple
Honey roasted peanuts

I don't get the concept of altering meat or nuts to taste sweet. Why?

I just discovered the best gum ever. It's Wrigley's Extra Dessert Delights in 3 different flavors - Mint Chocolate Chip (like the ice cream), Strawberry Shortcake & Key Lime Pie. Has anyone else tried it? It has 5 calories and is so good!

I'm pulling for you!
I, too, am a big fan of index funds because of the low fees. Good luck to you!

Back to being good today. I won't know until Friday when I weigh in if I did any damage over the holidays. Good luck everyone in getting motivated again!
