order a new bike from Walmart, you'll forget about old data.
Myth, if you lose much more your new name will be "Black Hole"

So I got home tonight, ate a pork chop and as I was about to take a shower before bed, I randomly decided to check my weight.. 328! I get the feeling that I'll wake up in the morning and my cheat will catch up to me, but I'll take 328 for now
That's 35 pounds!

Geat job H. If the scale bumps today you know its just sodium retention.
170/152/150
Somehow had a 2.5 overnight loss (water and mucus, I guess).
Finally able to re-start execise thus am. Definitely lost some strength with the weight loss. I think I need to bump my calorie intake back up to 1500.
(pants on the ground in my 32's)

220/212.5/150 back within 1/2 pound of my lowest weight since I started the last week in April. Just in time for vacation next week.

Wow guys, I woke up this morning and
363/326/250
37 pounds. I can't wait to start induction again and drop a lot. I think I'll stay in induction until I drop under 300 once I start.

See, you just needed some rice and mac & cheese to get rolling again.

Too bad you didn't have the homemade bread. You probably would have dropped a few extra pounds.
There really is no logic to weight loss over a short period of time. When we are really good, we sometimes struggle. We cheat, thinking it will hurt us and the weiight comes off.
I was at Chili's with the wife a few nights ago. I was good and had a salad with only Atkins-friendly toppings. She splurged and had the fajitas (with the tortillas) and chips and salsa. I was craving fajitas but didn't cave. The next morning, I had gained 2 lbs and she had lost a lb. I shoulda had the fajitas.
Obvioulsy, losing over the longer term is what is important, and we are all doing that by controlling what we eat. The short-term stuff can be pretty confusing, though.

The only logical leap I can make is maybe your body gets used to a certain way of eating, then you throw a wrench in it by cheating and it's not used to handling the "bad" stuff so it just gets rid of it and more? IDK it is very confusing.

My brain tried to convince me several times yesterday that a Chinese buffet was healthy.
I threatened a lobotomy and it backed down.

Ok guys, I'm back and ready to accept my public flogging. I posted a few times a few months ago and then fell off the wagon and then was too ashamed to post my failures. Not an excuse, but I don't think I timed the start of my last diet that well (the start of tax season, hellloo??). Anyway, not an excuse, but a learning experience. My tried and true Weight Watchers has let me down so I think I'll try other things this time around.
Myth, I've lurked on the thread and seen your progress and you are truly an inspiration, as are some of you other guys, Hulk I'm looking at you. Congrats guys.
Ok, I'm prepared for my flogging now
Oh, 174/172/155 (restarted 5/15/11)

Thanks for the kind words. I've influenced a few family members but I'm glad I can be any kind of inspiration/motivation for others to lead themselves into a healthier lifestyle.
And just remember, it's a way of eating, not a diet. If you think of it as a temporary diet, you're bound to fail. If you cheat or faulter, it's NOT the end of the world. Hop back on that horse and get back to it. All of us have faith in you and each other, we're like a little e-family.
You can do it!

exactly. so do NOT get upset if you go hardcore induction and you stall.
you never know when the weight will drop off..its a roller coaster..important thing is to be consistent and it will sort out in the wash.
37lbs hulk! dang dude. y'all are making me look like the 'puttada' wimp at my measly 63lb loss.
well i got another 19 to go (my ultimate goal was always 175) so 82lbs will look MUCH better than 63

I know this. Thanks so much for the encouragement. God I wish for the good old days when I could just switch from beer to Diet Coke and trim out a pizza or 2 a week and solve all my problems. Getting old sucks
