i am a bit obsessed. its always been a passion but racing this season has made me completely ridiculous about it. i'm glad you are riding..its a sport you can do until you're 90..and also be GOOD at. what other sport can us 'old guys' beat 20-somethings and 30-somethings?

Pretty sure this is just my usual post-weekend sodium bump, but the grandkids choc chip cookie birthday cakes were too good to pass on. Also had sopping bread a few times with Boiled in Butter Shrimp.
Welcome Lawman
kudos to Myth.

I've always heard that goals should be very specific.

Hey bench 4 holes is great. Im down 4 holes as well. No small feat!

I rarely wear a belt, so not sure how many holes. However, my 38's fit correctly now. Before, I would take them off and have those sexy pant marks around my waist.

Alright folks, I'm officially throwing my tubby butt in the ring. I've gained 40+ lbs in a year and a half because of a knee injury and a couple of surgeries. Started today with diet and exercise. Reading this thread has been great motivation. Wish me luck!
215/175
Also, is there any healthy recipe guide that I may have missed from page 20-184? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Welcome aboard
MY rule of thumb is if it taste good dont eat it.
Just kidding, I am on Atkins, low carb, I know there are lots of low carb and low cal recipes out there, but I just stick to the grilled meat and fish regimen.

welcome. depends on you, the key is to track what you eat and what you do. get a scale and a website like myfitnesspal. post good and bad. you're not alone. Best thing is there aren't any bullies cuz we're all losers.

I cheated tonight. I ate about a 1/2 cup of rice with the roast and a 1" by 1" piece of baked mac and cheese.. it was worth it
I skipped on the fresh baked bread!

The stinking site I have been using for a year is crapping out. 95% of the time I can no longer get in.
I've started using myfitnesspal but losing all my data for the last year is like losing a pinky toe. It sucks but it won't kill ya.
And given that the site is crapping out and has been for a few weeks, I can't carry it over to the new site plus the way the site is set up it would take a million years.
Plus it is a SERIOUS pain in the arse to enter old data on myfitness.
Grinds my damn gears!

Congratulations, Myth. Now, you have 11 more pounds and I've got about 12. Gauntlet still thrown down -- I'm coming after you!!!!
Eat my dust.

Gauntlet accepted, my seconds will meet your seconds at dawn.
All extra motivation is good but I should let you know you have no chance.
I don't wish to crush your spirits like I crushed Cad.
