Lost 2.0 lbs this week for a total of 33.4! An especially awesome loss considering I went to a wedding last Saturday and had 3 donut holes Thursday AND a small piece of cake on Wednesday. <3 WW!!

279.8/246.4/164

Onward and downward!

220/213/150 still hanging in there. Ate chicken fried steak with the crust pulled off yesterday but it seems to have not affected my weight. Even though I would not recommend it. I am about to go in the kitchen to prepare all of the finger foods for my daughters graduation party this afternoon. Wish me luck! At this point the weightloss is so slow that it is not motivation to keep me from cheating but my blood sugar numbers are. These are the best numbers I have seen in years so low Carb is much healthier for me even if the pounds come off slowly. That means this is not a diet but the best way of eating for me.

The battle has been won.... by me.

It was an epic struggle of two opposing forces but it appears my 20 mile ride and being back on Atkins have done the job.

185.7

The .7 should be leaving shortly although it is possible I will get a bounce up because I dropped like 5 pounds in 3 days.

323/185.7/173

My new goal of 173 is my final goal and will put me smack in the middle of my normal BMI as well as being the 150 pound loss mark.

So even though it appears the race to 185 is over with me TRIUMPHANT and you doing the walk of shame, there is a new battle afoot. 175!

Don't feel bad. You are in 1000X better shape than me.

I still wear my old belt. I just keep adding new belt holes.

I've dropped 17 inches on the belt.

Not so fast, grasshopper. You still have .7 to go. You cannot declare victory yet. I only have 12.5 more and I still intend to pass you up.

Great job, though!!

I'm due for a bounce up tomorrow. I was going to give my legs a break today but I think I'll at least do a short ride to try and keep from bouncing up a bit.

well done myth! yeah you kicked my butt..i'm still bouncing around 195. the race yesterday was my last one until like august (except for wed night crits..but those are only like 20 minutes long) so i'm going to stop training and focus on the dieting again i gotta exercise less to lose weight? sounds odd huh?

no i have been very lax about what i'm eating..had a fantastic race yesterday but the final score doesnt really reflect it..i rode hard (but arguably not smart) but i'm not sure i would have done anything different if i had to do it again..well maybe a couple of things.

anyway, this post is for you. WELL DONE and my final goal is 175 so we'll see who gets there first..hollow victory for me at this point.

ps what do i owe you again for winning?

on a similar story..i was in dilliards friday night 'exchanging' my old 32x34 levis...here's the kicker..

they don't make 31x34s or anything else smaller in a 34 length :\

so in the last year i've gone from not being able to buy levi's because i was too fat..to not being able to buy them because i'm 'too skinny'

can you believe that shite?? its actually pretty funny. i just got a store credit then went to express and found a pair of 32x34s that fit a little better.

fwiw, i have to buy 'fuller' cut jeans like 559, 560 or 569s because my legs don't really fit in 505s or 501s. i should point that part out because i think those fit more snug in the waist than the ones i'm buying.

i'm still wearing 33 or 34 waist-size dress pants.

Boggles my mind to think I am shopping in the 30s now.

The 38s I have are too loose. I'll probably buy 34s next time I shop.

Cad

I wish to thank you. Our battle to 185 has kept me entertained and focused and your incessant bike talk got me back out on mine.

Thank you my good sir.

First time ever to make it through a party without eating chips, cookies or crackers!! I am very proud of myself. I did eat fruit though but at least my cheating was a healthy choice.

I'm PO'd about the belt hole theme. I was going to brag about moving 4 holes.

I'm seeing wraparounds at 18 holes. Congrats but

not really.

Reading through some of this thread is encouraging. I went to the doc last week and my blood pressure and cholesterol were both high for my age. I joined a gym yesterday and I'm working on eating better. My goal is to drop about 25 lbs.
