I don't, but like eating it but if I make a shake out of it, it may taste better to me. Also, if I change flavors I will not get so locked into something and try to keep from "burnout" or whatever.

Have you tried birthday cake? It would be a good shake, too.

Nope sure haven't

I will try though. I just found out I get to spend a week on the beach over the 4th of July, so I am kind of excited. I did a free weight workout yesterday and amazingly I do not feel as sore as I thought I would. After the workout though I was dead.

I did this workout in this order...

Cardio
25 min walk
13 min elliptical

Weights
3 sets lat pull (12,10,8)
3 sets rows
3 sets Pallof Press each side
2 x 12 barbell curls
3 sets hammers
2 x 12 dumbbell curl
2 x 10 overhead dumbbell press
2 x 30 sec, 2 x 15 sec plank

I need to find something to do today though. Maybe just do cardio, some chest, and abs. But have no clue what a simple chest workout would be.

I planned on doing 3x 10/12 TRX chest press today

I have never done a crossover so may get sketchy.

Bench hmm never thought about that, incline or flat?

Dips I thought was a tri workout?

You see my workout yesterday is that a smart or good order or should I add or drop something?

then just do weighted flys, bent over, seated, and lunge fly's (lunge down and fly while you're in lunge position), rotated. your chest will hate you, but your tits will look great.

Bench can be flat, incline, or decline... prefer all lol

And dips, can target triceps or chest. Look up chest dips, do them right and ur chest will be on fire

? for 777 or anyone else familiar with GSLP - I'm planning starting this today. Most of it is pretty straightforward thanks to the spreadsheet. But the AMRAP.. is that AMRAP at the same weight you just did 2 sets of 5?

yes first set is to 5 and stop, same with second. third set you push it to true failure. All at the same weight. If you get 10 or more reps, double the increase in weight next session.

At least at Jambo shoppe I can stay afloat

Ok cool, just making sure.

I'm not sure what weights to start at so I put what weight I think I can get 7 before failure. Guess I'll find out really fast if I over or under estimated

Sounds interesting. 5, 5, failure sounds easy enough.

Extremely humbled by squats today. I used to do 225 for about 10 reps but didn't focus on ATG.. just would hit parallel. I focused on ATG squats today and could only hit 4 reps at 225. Rested and hit it again, only got 4 reps. So I went down to 185 for the amrap but was so fatigued I only hit 4 on that too. I was straining so hard the air coming out from my pursed lips made that elephant noise

Oh the assisted dip/chin up machine?

Yeah it hurts. Dips hurt in general, especially for big guys like me. I prefer bench dips. Sit on the bench sideways, put your hands at your side and slide your butt off, holding your weight up on your feet and hands. Kick your feet out.. the further away, the harder they will be. If that's too easy, put your feet on a box or another bench. If that's too easy, add some weight on your lap.

That doesn't work your chest but killer for triceps. Normal dips will hit your upper pecs as well as triceps.
