Lost another two lbs
Not gonna lie, not being able to drink beer sucks but I'm keeping my eye on the price. 2 days down, 19 more to go.

Bench dips hurt my hands/wrists, and I can never get through as many as I want to in a set and it makes me mad.
Did 3.3 miles run/jog/walk tonight that I had t planned for, so I should sleep well tonight. Hah! I run slower than dial-up, but I'm running and that's enough for me.

No cardio for me tomorrow I have done it 3 straight days
Just going to repeat what I did Monday
3 sets lat pull (12,10,8)
3 sets rows
3 sets Pallof Press each side
2 x 12 barbell curls
3 sets hammers
2 x 12 dumbbell curl
2 x 10 overhead dumbbell press
2 x 30 sec, 2 x 15 sec plank
I may add some box steps but really doubt it

Made an easy pad Thai knock off I posted in the dinner thread.
Came out great, if anyone wants the recipe.

I haven't been around lately, but what's the strategy at zero carbs? I am zero through the week, just curious.

HOW? even gum has some carbs in it.
Are you guys living on pork chops and water all week or what?

I have decided that I hate my 6th hour class and I may just drink a margarita or give them arsenic.
I really may need a workout today to get rid of the frustration.

don't count fiber. so we eat things like this
breakfast
free range eggs
uncured bacon
lunch
some type of baked chicken or salmon
grean salad with olive oil
2oz grass fed cheese
dinner
Steak
Grean veggie with grass fed butter
avocado
of course you can do things like protein shakes(dont use whey, use egg or casein or a blend), seafood, bulletproof coffee, fat bombs, small amounts of natural PB(peanuts and salt as ingredients only), any meat or green veggie, bone broth etc.
honestly its not that hard, but you have to understand that you still need to stay in a caloric deficit. With keto its hard to gain weight even if you go over your caloric deficit, but after the first few weeks you will not lose unless in a caloric deficit. atleast in 99% of people.
As far as how we do it, we are determined and want it more than anything else. Now there are more than one way to skin a cat, iifym works fine, but imo people don't stick to it well. Most people need to go extreme to get the results they want. Keto is the easiest way to do that especially at extreme low calories, psmf being the second best way.

777, If I do this today I am good correct?
3 sets lat pull (12,10,8)
3 sets rows
3 sets Pallof Press each side
2 x 12 barbell curls
3 sets hammers
2 x 12 dumbbell curl
2 x 10 overhead dumbbell press
2 x 30 sec, 2 x 15 sec plank
I may add some box steps but really doubt it day off from any cardio
Then tomorrow do some chest stuff.

yea looks fine but you should really look into the greyskull program. And you need to get a hold of your macros and understand where you need to be.
I would suggest you go take a look at iifym or using the ifcalc to get your macros set. Then plug into myfitnesspal and try to hit them.

Oh, zero net carbs, gotcha.
I'm fitting my macros pretty well so far, and I'm goal set for 1500 Cals per day, the calculator said 1800 for a 20% deficit, but that didn't seem like enough for me; so I dropped it myself to 1500, and the actual range I end up in is 1100-1350.

unless you are a 120lbs female then that is way too low. You are going to cause metabolic damage if you do that consistantly and you are going to hit a plateau and have to reverse diet back out.
should have stuck to 1800 and actually hit it for 2 weeks, if you don't loose any then lower by 100 and repeat for 2 weeks. 1100 is extreme and what I do for things like a fat fast or psmf but only for max 8-10 days at a time with very strategic macro tricks to starve off muscle loss. I suggest you rethink your process.
Posted on 5/10/17 at 4:40 pm to lsu777
I don't think I could hit 1800 if I tried.
I am a female, 5'10 257.
I do strength training two days a week and walk/run/jog 3-5 miles 3 days with 2 rest days.
I read that as long as you caloric deficit wasn't over 35% you could stay out of starvation mode successfully?

I agree witg 777 here. For you height and weight i would have stayed with 1800 cals while sticking to your macros
Posted on 5/10/17 at 4:43 pm to georgia
Starvation mode doesn't necessarily mean you won't cause metabolic damage

I didn't know you were tall, too
