Alright nerds,

I'm sort of making a run at this fat fast today. Had a handful of almonds at 11am. A small bag of cracklin for lunch, and coffee all morning until 11.

I don't feel bad. Not yet anyway. Not hungry either. I think the hardest part is going to be laying off beer. Gonna save me around $100 over the next week though. Silver lining, I guess.

Nice! I've had a bunch of coffee & a handful of macadamia nuts (because I didn't prepare & that's what I have at work). Thanks to Vyvanse, I feel fine. I'm having steak tonight. Gotta plug everything in & see what I'm missing.

jk, that's good progress. Always like to see people pressing. Feel like I'm the only one who ever does it at my gym.

Also some coworker asked me right as I was leaving asking me if I had gained because I looked different.

dieting is all about doing to least to get results. That away you have room to adjust down and take it more extreme. If you start extreme and it stops working, then you have to reverse diet back up to reet metabolism, big pain in the arse.

duuude tell me about it.

One day of overeating and my 6'2 260lb arse is eating 1600 cal/dayto make up for it while working out 4x/week. I feel like shite. And this is on the slow fat loss setting.

But I really want to get to 220 before reversing. The idea is to keep pushing and use the reverse @ 220 as motivation.

That said, my sister's getting married this weekend and I'm going to Austin, so I'm setting Avatar to maintenance calories and going to try to comply with that while I'm gone.

I am I haven't been over 1500 except couple times. Doing cardio most days (at least 5 days). Just probably hit a wall and that comment the coworker made just hit me wrong.

Plus my legs got sore today on the bike for first time since starting weeks.

I've been mia the last few days and all of a sudden everyone wants to post.
I have missed two workouts this week and I'm so frustrated with it. Went out on the lakefront Sunday and messed up my truck, it's a diesel, so it needs a diesel mechanic and I can't get it fixed until Monday, so I'm playing tag with a few family members until then, so that's distracting and stressful, I'm an independent mofo, I don't like borrowing things from people.
I did get an under armour health box this week, I like that the fact that everything connects wirelessly, it makes tracking easier for sure. Still maintaining at 13lbs down, I think that's not bad for being out of my routine, so I'll take it. For now.

As far as this thread being off track, I don't agree. We have times where it goes off for a few hours, but this isn't just a diet thread, it's a lifestyle thread, isn't that the change we are all trying to make? Shouldn't this thread be a place to talk about how all these different ways of eating and exercising affects our daily life, share tips, tricks, and motivation with one another? That's certainly what I was under the impression it was, and honestly has been my favorite thing about it, it's just a place to be real about it all.
If that's not what it's supposed to be then I'll apologize for my part in it and bow out gracefully, I have enough information in my life.

No it is about that for sure I was talking about other things then that. By all means share, especially if you just need somebody to talk to, if you down about progress or just need help. I know I am an a-hole(working on that) but I promise if you ask me for help I will do anything and everything to help you succeed, except do cardio with you cause frick cardio!!! Sorry but that shite just sucks.

But with that being said, let me say one more thing and it's not meant for any person or attacking anybody... it's mother frickin may, it's time to cut all the bullshite and be the best YOU can be for beach season. It's different for everyone as we are all in different stages, but after all the beer drinking I know yall mofos are going to do on Friday for cinco, it's time for some pain and gainz.

Weekly weigh in for Avatar.. weekly average was 263.2 for a net gain of .34 lb. It lowered my macros some more and said...

I'm thinking my tracking must not have been accurate for my bad meals last week and I should've marked not compliant. Had bww then albasha for lunch the next day and Lit for dinner Saturday. Bww has nutrition but lit and albasha do not so I didn't best guessing and could easily have been wrong.

So now my macros to lose 1 lb/week are
1792 cals
189p
60f
124c

I've been wondering how you were doing.

I hope you can get your truck back soon! Nothing makes me feel as vulnerable as having my car out of commission. When I was married, I had someone who was obligated to tote my arse around/access to 2 vehicles. The first time I had to go to a mechanic after leaving him, and realizing I would have to impose on friends to get picked up or sit at a mechanic for 10 hours while my clutch is replaced, I had a total FML moment. I'm also very independent & hate imposing or asking for help. It feels so crappy when your car isn't working & you have no choice but to ask.

For the off topic stuff, I'm with you. I enjoy "knowing" everyone here. It's easier for me to stay engaged and on track when I feel some accountability because y'all "know" me. I don't want to have to report failures to you. And it HAS been productive. Most of us here are down a not insignificant amount of weight since we started posting. Does it sometimes get a little too far off the rails? Yes. And occasionally a kick in the pants is a good reminder to buckle down again. But when this thread is 100% debates and pasted text walls of scientific studies, it can also become insufferable. When it's balanced, it's awesome. Hopefully we can find that.
