Wanna thank you, Bus, for showing us the Keto tracker. It helps keep you in check when you feel like you're not making progress. I added some columns and graphs to make it even more interesting

Not as much progress as I'd like, but at least it's happening. Most important part.

Dropped body fat another %. 20.8 is the new number. Hopefully after this next 5 week block I'll be in the teens!

have to deadlift today. not sure if possible due to my dog bite. the bar would basically be sitting in the groove of that first knuckle and the tip of my index finger is basically worthless at the moment. We'll see what happens.

That's really awesome. I love data. It can be very discouraging if you didn't have those numbers available. Once it is set up, it's so easy to put in the numbers and move on with your day.

/r/keto has a link on the right side of the page with the keto tracker. It's a Google Sheets document.

Found the link.

I shoot for 60-65% fat, 30-35% protein, 5% carb.

Yeah, I used it religiously for the first year. I've been lazy ketoing and not even weighing in lately. Logging food in MFP, look ok in mirror (can definitely be better though as always) and keep hitting my GSLP lifts, so good enough for me for now

Excited for tonight. SO and I are planning a cheat meal. Probably Mansurs or Beausoleil. I've been craving pizza and wanted to get a fix, but we decided on a nice date night cheat meal since we've both been doing a good job.

What has less carbs, rice or orzo (risoni)? Im sure rice isn't on the diet, could you substitute rice with orzo?

Orzo has the following profile per cup:
-Calories-200
-Fat-1g
-Carbs-42g
----Sugar-2g
----Fiber-2g
-Protein-7g

White Rice has the following per cup:
-Calories-205
-Fat-0g
-Carbs-45g
----Sugar-0g
----Fiber-1g
-Protein-4g

Brown Rice has the following per cup:
-Calories-218
-Fat-2g
-Carbs-46g
----Sugar-0g
----Fiber-4g
-Protein-5g

Glycemic Loads

Orzo-28

White Rice-22

Brown Rice-22

for reference the glycemic load of
quinoa is 18 and sweet potatoes is 17

as you can see there is hardly any difference between brown rice, white rice and orzo. where as quinoa and sweet potatoes provide a much better bang for the buck as far as insulin response goes.

hulk can wait to see you get in the 270s. Gonna be a party around here.

Yesterday I went kind of crazy. My boss was in town so we went to lunch and I ate a lot and had a piece of cake. then last night I ate like a whole 8x8 pan of brownies. Really fell off the wagon.

Then I realized I have exactly 2 weeks until I leave for a mini vacation. Gonna try and schedule to have BF tested at the link Lester Earl taken on friday the 3rd just to get a really clear picture of where I am.

So made the commitment to myself last night to do the rapid fat loss diet for the next two weeks getting all my cals in within an hour eating window from 3 til 4 every day.

So 1200 cals is the goal with the following breakdown

Fat-13g
Carbs-15g
Protein-255g

I will be doing a short 30-45 min lifting session every night and light light cardio a total of like 2 to 2.5 hours a day. Think walking. Along with frequency method pushups throughout the day.

Really ramping up the ECA stack and the TT-33 to help burn as much as possible.

Yes its extreme but desperate times call for desperate measures and I am desperate to be below 10% BF in 2 weeks. I was down to 187 last sunday, hoping to be 180 within the 2 weeks.

Wish me luck because I am going to need it.

You got that.

Man I'm doing some unhealthy eating/drinking on this vacation.

Looking forward to coming back to New Orleans with a new job though. Gonna help motivate me to get after it and get it together before Labor Day.

Lost two more pounds. Wondering how much a cheat meal (hibachi filet with veggies and fried rice) will set me back. It is a large group of people I don't know so I don't want to order without rice and I don't think I can leave the rice on my plate lol.

Itll throw you off for a few days then you'll be fine again. If you don't gorge in it you shouldn't gain much real weight, if any. Not too bad you've been doing great.

Great job! I've found that an occasional cheat like that doesn't really set me back. I just have to be REALLY careful about getting back on track the next day. It starts making me all, "well, I didn't gain last time, so I can do it again." Next thing I know, I'm doing it a few times a week.

Enjoy it!
