Fair enough. Guess I'll give it until the company health fair in August.

As far as not getting enough, my fat macros according to the Keto calculator on Reddit should be 130g. I've yet to hit that number OK come really close. I range from around 60g-100g. I haven't been tired at all and have been hitting the gym 4-5x's a week mainly for weight training. Should I try and actually hit that 130g? It just seems really hard while still keeping my calories under 1500.

I've forced myself to eat avacodo certain days because I knew I wouldn't come close to that much fat.

I think what you're gonna start to notice is that your body will let you know what it needs. You'll crave certain things that you normally wouldn't, and those are the things your body needs.

That's what I've experienced anyway, fwiw

You need to disassociate all of the garbage science of the past that linked fat to heart disease. Eat lots of fat and love it.

Sugar will frick you up way faster than fat will.

I've had this issue in the past. I ended up making keto fat bombs, usually chocolate, to eat as a small dessert after dinner. They usually contain about 10g of fat in them.

Its great to use in the beginning because of the magnesium depletion you get from all that water weight being flushed out of you. Apparently craving chocolate is a sign of magnesium deficiency.

The only way I have found to meet fat macros and stay in low girl amount of calories is to pair the fat with very low calorie foods. Like avocado with cucumber, cheese with cauliflower or eggs with spinach.

That's good. Oils (Avocado, coconut, olive) and grassfed butter are your friends as well, if you're having trouble with reaching your fat macro.

I was not hungry tonight so I skipped dinner. Feeling pretty good about it. Fought the "oh man I need to eat, it's dinner! I have a ton of calories left!" with "don't eat if you're not hungry". May be the first time I've ever been able to do that.. I always eat dinner.

Getting up at 5am to hit the gym. I'm sure by the time we get back I'll be famished. Last ate some sunflower seeds at 5:15pmish, so if I break the fast it'll be a little early.
