Thank you. I have a 5qt enameled and a 7 qt regular cast and i paid more for both of those at the lodge outlet place up in Sevierville than 7.5qt costs.

I know dick about dutch ovens, so can someone help me understand what is made in there? Soups? Etouffe? Gumbo? Anything low carb?

I mainly do braised meat dishes and white beans in mine.
I know folks make a nice roux in the oven in pots like that but I haven’t tried that.
