Why? I find it hard to believe that one franchise is able to dominate the market for competent employees. I find it hard to believe that one franchise is consistently rated excellent and the other franchise is a consistent cluster frick. Why? This is top down incompetence. This is a corporate entity that needs revamped.

I'm guessing when they do come back they will be $4.99 and half the size.

If they’re making money, does it matter?

Because from the top down one company goes out of their way to make sure each and every employee is a quality individual. CFA fires people who don’t fit in fast. CFA is much more rigorous with choosing franchise owners and limits them on the restaurants they can own. I’m on a first name basis with the CFA franchise owner near me and I don’t even go to it often, he knows his locals. He is usually doing some grunt work cleaning up the place when I see him, no work is below him. Their management just cares about their restaurants and don’t let them become a culture of laziness and uncleanliness.

Meeting the owner of a franchise isn’t unusual at any CFA location, I can’t recall seeing an owner at any other franchised fast food joint.

This type of culture costs more, that’s the main reason you don’t see it more often.

The @PopeyesChicken sandwich, in its 15 days on the national market, generated $65 million worth of chatter among the news & social media platforms, according to @ApexMarketing.

Hell Chick Fila got a ton of free pub as well

Popeyes just posted on their Twitter account that they're sold out, I'm assuming they can't keep up with the demand. Fear not though, you can download the Popeyes app and be notified when they're back in stock.

I was wondering why the Popeye's near me took the chicken sandwich poster down... I just figured the employees tore it down to prevent more people from ordering it

Extremly true. A lot of that has to do with that people will own 100 McDonalds or 300 Burger Kings, Taco Bells, & Pizza Hut locations for passive income. Chick Fil A won't let you own that many stores. They are actively against having owners who want it as a form of passive income.

yep. last time we were at the one here in town a couple of 'suits' were in a booth next to us working something out on a laptop (both guys looked at least 60 years old) and one of them got up, went to the counter and came back with a box of nuggets for our 4yo because they overheard him saying how good they were and that he wanted more.

they were genuinely interested in how our meal was and asked several questions before they went back into their huddle.

This.

1 guy owned like 20-30 Pizza Huts across South LA and they all closed down at same time a few years ago.

My boss owns like 75 Wendy's in TN and NC

Eta I feel like there's a 'super rich person' financial advisor out there who advocates for mass fast food ownership as part of their diversified portfolios.

CFA forces their operators to be in their stores, it’s in their contracts. It’s literally their full time job.

Which is great and part of their success but they aren’t like hey let me go hang at my store for awhile and pass out nuggets to kids and change flat tires in the parking lot
