When did the physical building go to shite?
Granted, I know it is an older building, but that doesn't mean you can't keep it clean.
Poor leadership not holding employees accountable? Or an owner that simply doesn't care?
I am speaking of old food caked on the walls, floors that are slick to walk on because of the grime, dirty AC vents, lights out, etc.
My waitress was great. The food not so much. But I simply can't get over how filthy this place was and is.

Went three times. All at the request of other people and all three times it was terrible.
I just decline invitations now if that is the venue of choice.

Man I love Pluckers. I'll have to look for these things next time I'm there.

That one has always sucked.
Don't go with a large group, that patio area seems to always be closed which is perfect for that.
Went in there during NBA playoffs one year and half the staff was standing around watching the game. Took us forever to get food.
The food is so much better at the Nicholson location.

Had that pork loin the other day. It was money.

I was there couple weeks back for lunch and it was raining. The wall by the back door closest to the bathrooms is completely rotten. Water was running into the restaurant from where the base plate should have been. The wood floor right there is so bad they had a wet floor sign there so you didn't trip. I brought it to the waitress attention that water was creeping in and she said it does that every time it rains. Acted like it was no big deal.
Place really has gone down hill. Maybe they should stop paying Moscona for those cheesy plugs and focus on fixing their building.

I know it's a chain, but I've literally never had a bad meal there.

J Alexander's is great. Not because it has the best food or service, although both are well above average.
It's because they are consistent. Every time. Doesn't matter if there is a change in leadership at the restaurant. The end result is always the same. Their processes along with their people are top notch.

That pluckers is terrible. Going the way of BWW up the road...
Posted on 3/16/17 at 4:28 pm to TigerDeBaiter
BWW supposedly is getting a makeover soon

Pluckers is usually the go-to place for me and the fellas, but I was very disappointed in their service when I went last week. I've never had any problems with service at either location before last week. That's a big reason why we choose it. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come.
That said, I am trying to avoid BWW at all costs. Every location. They set the standard for terrible service.

There is a simple explanation for the decline.

I like BJ's Brewhouse in that area also.

So let's hear this "simple explanation"...
Posted on 3/16/17 at 7:04 pm to tlsu15
The " chicken" market has been flooded in the BR area.
Posted on 3/16/17 at 7:11 pm to skuter
Quantity does not equal quality.

All of these lame arse wing places seem to be shitty.
