My wife and I will be in New Orleans Sunday evening and it is our first wedding anniversary. Where should we eat?

Chick Fil A.

Ah shite man. You're out of luck. Sorry.

But really, honest answers:

Saba
Irene's
Mr. B's
Brennan's
Sylvain's
Commander's Palace

All come to mind. There are lots of other great places that others will name, too.

She’s fussing because she says there are no reservations available. I need a list to go down to salvage this thing so I appreciate your response

Don’t do commanders.

Try restaurant revolution

Damn, that menu does look incredible. She's pretty picky so even her finding something at Commander's was a thing, but I'm gonna keep Revolution in my back pocket for maybe another trip. Looks incredible

Meh. Have a cocktail plan before or a dessert plan after...something a bit more hip.

I know people rave about commander's but I've had better meals in New orleans....to me other newer resturants in New orleans have passed up some of the old guard places....some are living on their reputation and the toursit industry...

Agreed
McPhail has his hand in too many things

We celebrated our wedding at commanders and I thought it underwhelmed. Definitely regret it

Make sure Commander’s knows it’s an anniversary.
