Or was I supposed to say something like "Your countertop is so 90's. I'd never have store bought meat in my kitchen...must grow your own cattle and carve out chunks when you need them."

For the record, I wasn't "hating" either, just seeking clarification there. Although, truth be told, I have serious issues with the consistency of canned mushrooms. I just don't care for them.

I can never get straw mushrooms to taste like anything other than the can.
