Not a bad looking menu. I think that could be a good spot for us since they have their own brews and a handful of others.

I'm interested to try the newer batch of Envie. Last time I tried it was back in August and I don't feel like it lived up to the hype. But the newer batch looks to be a bit more of a NEIPA which I thoroughly enjoy.

The plan is to bring down some Trillium, but honestly I'm going to have to wait and see how much room I'll have in my suitcase. Have to pack for a 3 week vacation.

Courtyard, Nola, Avenue Pub.

I wouldn't go to second line considering your schedule constraints

Another benefit or courtyard is that barrel proof is a block away and yall can drink whiskies too

If the quality of the beer is your number one criteria, then Courtyard is the spot. However it is just an open area with not much seating and the seating they have is kind of makeshift. NOLA has a much better atmosphere. Avenue pub is also a great spot even though it is just a bar.

Personally I love Courtyard but I like to warn out of town guests how it is set up.

I was trying to think of how to describe it. It's definitely 'low key', but also clean. I haven't had experiences with seating issues, but I typically go on week nights.

I appreciate the heads up. We're looking to go around mid-day on a Friday, so hopefully seating won't be too bad on a work day.

NOLA does free tours Friday and they can be packed. Crawfish too during the season.

Good to know. We'll probably skip NOLA in that case. We don't really need a tour or anything, just a good place to go and enjoy some local craft beers.

Avenue Pub will probably have the Balcony open on a Friday afternoon.

Its a nice place to sit outside when the weather is good

Yeah I highly suggest doing both of them when you're right there. Great whiskey selections

Listen to this guy

Personally I'd start at NOLA, swing by tchoup yard, end at barrel proof

I would definitely say the quality of beer is the number one criteria, so I think Courtyard is the play.

Any baws that want to come buy me a pint, I'll see you there.

I do want to get around to a bunch of the other places mentioned, but I think it's going to have to be on my next NOLA visit. Not going to have a ton of time to hop from place to place this trip.

I'd go to Avenue if beer is your primary concern - better beer & a little more to see on St Charles
