We are flying in Saturday and will be looking for a CheeseSteak that evening. Anything worth it in Reading Terminal Market or City Center? We are staying at the Phili Marriott Downtown.
We will hit up Pat's, Jim's and Geno's later in the week.
Thanks

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but Reading seemed like more of a lunch place, a lot slower for dinner in terms of options.

There are tons of good food options in center city.
its been quite some time cine ive been there but some off top my head
Parc
Village Whiskey, great burger and drinks
The Dandelion, my wife's favorite restaurant at one time
Butcher and Singer is a old school steak house

Reading has some decent cheesesteaks, and get you a soft pretzel while you are there. Try Hershel's East Side Deli. My favorite is their Reuben.
Though not in Center City, take an Uber and go 10 minutes to Angelo's Pizzeria on 9th street. The wait will be long but worth it. Get a cheesesteak with cooper sharp and some fried onions. Pats and Geno's aren't bad, but it's like going to Mother's in New Orleans.
Be greedy and get you an Italian hoagie and a tomato pie while you're there.
Also, around Love Park is Siddiq's water ice. they should have mobile carts around there.

Our flight lands at 2. I would hope to be at the hotel by 4ish

Give us a trip report when you’re done. I’m making my maiden voyage there this summer.

I’d skip Pats/Genos. They’re like the Varsity in ATL. John’s Roast Pork or Angelo’s Pizzeria have the best.
