Quickly becoming my favorite.
For a cheap one the Bogle is very good.

Bogle petit Syrah is an outstanding wine. It’s pretty much all we drink

It’s one of the few varietals I just don’t like very much, unfortunately.

Bogle Petite Syrah is a fantastic value. Even more so two years ago.

Tell me more. And believe me, no negative talk from me. Everyone has their own tastes. Just interested.

All of Bogles wines are fantastic for their price point.

David Fulton made the best petite sirah I’ve ever had. Sadly, the vineyard was sold and they ripped up the vines and planted Cabernet. frick. At least I still have about a case.

A bit too tannic and boozy for me, but I could see how those wouldn't be terrible qualities at low price points.

I like your description.
I also like tannic.
I used to describe wines as dry when they are actually fruit forward with that dry feeling finish being tannic.

Didn’t recognize you by name, but I immediately remembered the conversation once you mentioned it

I’ve had many cheap wines, but their petit Syrah is nearly impossible to beat at that price.

Right on!
I learned a lot in that thread.

Almost every time I buy a bottle not named Bogle Petit Syrah I feel like I’m throwing money away

I found the notice that it sold. Not real sure of the exact date but my guess is 2019ish.
