Alice in Borderlands
Money Heist
Lilyhammer
I know a guy that did the “mail order bride” thing. They have been married for around 20 years. He seems happy with it. They have kid together and he never complains.

The course design was done by a landscape architect that was avid golfer. He hadn’t designed a golf course previously or since. I know after it was finished he would have loved a chance to change things on certain holes. With all the changes in ownerships over the beginning, things on a few holes were done to help with certain problems.

Where can you find the list of rounds played at each course? That’s very interesting information.

I live at Copper Mill. We did 31,000 thousand rounds last year. If you think an extra 620,000 a year doesn’t matter you’re sadly mistaken. Golf courses are always easier to manage and run the more money you have. Just like most things in life you can fix a lot of issues if you have the dollars to throw at the problem.

That’s more employees that can keep up with maintenance. More chemicals to be used to keep weeds at bay. For us it would mean a new clubhouse as well.

In the next week or two we have a crew coming hand pull all the Poa off the greens. After investing in new greens we want to keep them up. That would have been unthinkable a few years ago. That’s what money can help with.

Comparing cost of a taxpayer subsidized round at Santa Maria and Beaver Creek to the Island or any other course in the area isn’t fair to that particular course.

An article just a few years ago if said basically a round at Beaver Creek is subsidized over $20 a golfer.
I got to play Augusta Country Club on Masters Saturday. It was ridiculous hearing the roars and seeing the grand stands through the trees on some holes.
I just checked my Paramount plus and WAFB is streaming live.
I used Shawn in Metairie a few months ago for a full bag fitting. The clubs are performing great that he put me in. Obviously with anything club champion they were pricy.

The three wood is like a cheat code he fit me in.
I would think Saturday in the Baton Rouge area at the earliest. Still a ton of snow on the ground.

If getting a ball to stay on a green or near a hole is your problem that’s not the greens fault. That’s a spin a trajectory issue on your end. I play with guys over there that routinely go under par. I’m pretty sure that they are holding greens.

Copper Mill Bunker Renovation

Copper Mill is doing a full bunker renovation starting at the end of the month. They are going to put in the Better Billy Bunker System in all bunkers. This is the system that after all the bunkers are shaped and scraped a layer of pea gravel is installed, permeable epoxy is applied, and coarse bunker sand specifically designed to work with the epoxy is added. This will make the bunkers consistent throughout the course. Also they will be having a sprinkler head audit to help with not over watering areas on and around greens and adding French drains to areas that are constantly wet because of water run offs.

They will going from around 50,000 sq feet of bunkers to approximately 27,000 sq feet. Every bunker will get reshaped at minimum. Most large bunkers will be broken into two more manageable smaller bunkers. A few bunkers that were previously filled in will brought back to help with aesthetics and add challenges to a particular hole. Some bunkers will be sodded and turned into grass bunkers. The contractors are starting on hole one and working their way around the course. The project should take about two months to complete. No holes will be closed during the process.

Great cop show. I enjoyed it as well.

Unfortunately no. I’m not a golf snob and play a lot of different places. It sucked in my opinion. Their signature hole on the lake is a dog leg left par 4. I hit three wood straight away. You drive up to a sign that says turf farm and you must drop another place.

If you’re going with a group you can have have fun. It wasn’t expensive but every green was flat, a circle and slow. Some holes and fun elevation changes. The pro shop is a dump as well.

Yes, sorry I couldn’t remember the name. In my opinion it was in a worse condition than any local muni’s around Baton Rouge. That was July of last year.

I went to the public course in Broken Bow itself last year. It sucked. Small flat circle greens on every hole. Rocks in the fairway.
Many places had run offs with slopes that your ball would run into. White ball running into an area filled with white rocks made no sense. I brought the clubs to play everyday only played once. There was a course that was on the way in that looked nice but I couldn’t justify the drive back through the traffic to get there. Probably an hour outside of broken bow.

FYI: traffic sucks there on weekends. It doesn’t move at all.

Also if you’re arriving on a weekend stop at the grocery store on the way into town. This way as soon as you arrive you’re not getting right back in traffic to get food. We made that mistake.

Copper Mill, Greystone and CCL all do as well.
I can’t say where jn your area. I can say for certain that if you go to the new chevron at the corner of Airline and Evangeline they have five cases.
The super had nothing to do with the pins for the four ball. Before the Calcutta began a younger gentleman said you could thank him for the pin locations over the weekend. He had went out and marked them.
