I was out to eat with a couple who ordered their steak “butterflied and burned” and the slide ordered his with ketchup.

This. I prefer mine rare or medium rare. I can eat it medium. Nothing more well done than that though. It's a waste.

My dad likes them extra well. He's kind of ignorant and can't be convinced that the bloody looking or even pink meat won't kill him.
