Alcoholics usually can't taste much. I know one that quit drinking and stopped putting salt on everything he ate.

That's interesting. I've never heard that before about alcoholics. Guess I'm not one because I can taste! On to the gin.

Great news! Bout to go pull another cork! Taste is the only sense I have now...and that can be true in a number of ways.

Salt on watermelon seems to make it sweeter.

I do it because I have an electrolyte imbalance and my body constantly craves salt

The one thing I tend to add salt to everytime are chips that come with queso and salsa at Mexican restaurants. The restaurants put zero salt on them.

Back in the glory days of Big Blue during the interview process for hiring middle and upper managers they would take the prospect out to dinner. The ones that salted their food before tasting never got hired.

Always on watermelon as does everyone in my family. Black pepper on cantaloupe.

Fries is salt and pepper. I've never put salt on pizza but pepper yes.

Nice sprinkle of sea salt on a vanilla ice cream cone and I'm good.

I taste before I salt with the exception of the above.

I would never add salt to anything before tasting it.

Also, I think watermelon is disgusting. And ketchup is for four-year-olds and dilettantes.
