Looks like flagships (envie, south coast and canebrake) will be brewed in FL so the brewery can focus solely on specialty releases (ghost, nova, etc.)
how does the board feel about this

As long as Envie stays the same, I don't care. I rarely drink Cane Brake or South Coast.

Pass, a lot better options out there

No issues with it at all as long as the water used doesn't change the flavor of the beer.

I would prefer local breweries to remain local...

I don't get warm and fuzzies from this. I like my local breweries to brew their beer locally.

Wht not just expand your own capacity? Better for the future anyway.

Shut up, Parish makes really good stuff.

yea i am pretty surprised by this
probably prompt me to search for something to replace Envie with unfortunately. I am not drinking a beer with "Parish" on the label brewed in Florida.

Must have got a sweetheart deal, labor and land is cheap in Louisiana.

While I am excited for them to be able to do more special releases, I think I will pass on drinking any of the flagships because I would prefer that the money I spend on local craft beer actually go to the local community and those persons performing the work. If I want to support the local economy in FL, I will just go vacation there.

Ok, but they will be making the Parish stuff I drink, so it works out.

I thought he was building a new facility in Louisiana?
If only for a period of time while he builds that would be ok but if this is permanent I’m not a fan.
But it is his private business and he has do what he sees fit for his business model to make his numbers. At the end of the day, good beer aside, he has to be in it for money as anyone would be.

I prefer the specialty releases so I am a ok with it but I do hope the quality on the other brews remains the consistent.

i'd put my money on Parish not being locally owned in the next couple years
