OT nutritionists, what kind of Tony Chachere's FUD frickery is this?

So on a whim I decided to look at the ingredients on the original creole seasoning and the last line ends with this:
Manufactured on equipment that uses [milk, soy and wheat].
Yes, it's bolded and italicized.
What is ole Tony trying to pull here?
ETA: oh, and inb4 Tony's is trashy. Because I am personally more of a George Soileau's man myself. And I'm talking original Coburn's Soileau's for you old timers.

Telling you that so if you have a wheat or dairy or soy allergy you don't try to sue them. Everything has that shite on there. Tons of meat says that it's packaged with seafood for the same reason

Milk, soy, and wheat are allergies. They must include that on the label to cover their arse and reduce their cleaning requirements.

Tons of food products have that or a similar warning about tree nuts or shellfish.
It's them covering liability from lawsuits from people with allergies that may have a reaction.
