I think it had less to do with the stroller and more to do with the attitude of people with strollers. Like they expect you to get out of their way because they have a kid.

I stood in front of one couple with a stroller in a throng of people. She bumped my leg a couple of times like I needed to move, I just turned around and smiled and stayed with the flow of traffic (which at more than one point was a standstill). Anyways, I heard them talk behind me, something to the effect of "I wish he would get out of the way so we can move, Jake (or Jack) is getting cranky."

I wanted to say, "Well, if you have a problem with having your kid in a throng of a few thousand people, maybe you shouldn't bring your kid."

But I continued to stand there and not let them by.

The people with strap on carriers and baby bjorn things were more considerate than those with strollers, I will say that.

My girlfriend wanted to bring her little dog, and I said no to that, because I thought it would be too much. I can't imagine bringing a kid.

Pork cheek poboy from Emeril's was money.

That is a different subject entirely. One can be considerate with a stroller and one can also be a total dick.

As I said,I doubt this will be a problem much longer. I am sure soon they will move to a new location and charge an entrance fee, then jack all the prices sky high and ruin the whole thing.

Exactly. I saw more people who thought they were special because they had a stroller than those that worked with the massive crowd.

Par for the course for great events like this.

"Come pay $20 to have the right to pay $15 to by a 6-inch poboy!!"

I saw a chick with a tiny 'dog' that was in a stroller - worst of both worlds.

My mother bought a pet stroller for my girlfriend's dog. I'm not kidding. It has never been used. My mom thought it was just so cute. I looked at my gf and said "That is sitting in the closet forever. No fricking way."

I am also on the list of the people who didn't try Grand Isle's poboys because of the sucubus who was yelling at people to try their poboys. Need someone with a better personality (or at least hot) is that's their marketing strategy.

Concept is great, location is awesome, but spacing is ridiculous...especially with dogs, strollers, wagons, etc....then throw in a brass band walking down the middle of the street and you have a perfect recipe for cluster-F.
Maybe they need to stretch it over two days.

I tried the lobster and it was good but probably not worth the wait. My favorite was the hot sausage po boy with tomato ragu from Crescent City Pie and Sausage Co. I liked the bbq oyster f/ red fish but didn't care for the bread they were using. Got the garlic shrimp f/ barcelona tapas and threw it in the garbage.
