Looking for small boxes of food that I can buy in bulk that I can send to clients/colleagues as a thank you. I'm thinking pralines. Any other ideas?

If you want something pretty hassle free you can order a Cajun Kringle from Haydels to ship to them. It even comes with a package of coffee and chicory.

I send these to some folks every year. They are packaged well and delivered in one day, very fresh. The price is good.

Pralines have to be packaged well if you're shipping. Some of them are delicate and will break up depending on the texture of the praline you're buying.

I usually do around 100 pounds of pecans this time of year. Some roasted spicy salted and some roasted cinnamon sugar. 50 pounds are for my husbands clients and the rest is from others asking me to make for them to use as gifts as well

Not New Orleans, but these pecans are awesome (New Iberia).

Pralines are great because I can buy them cheap in bulk and everyone loves them. Lot of the suggestions are great, but I'm not trying to spend $500+ on shipping and buying expensive gifts

From where do you buy these delicious morsels in bulk?

Ellis Stansel rice, used to you could call um up and a seven year old would take your order and you would get a bill a week or so later. Probably not like that now. They had two pound bags of the best rice you ever tasted, made perfect gifts.

I use cane river pecans, but I was disappointed to learn most of their pecans come from out of state

Baker Maid Fruit Cakes. I dislike fruit cake in general but these are insanely good. They aren't overly spiced, have lots of fruit and a good hit of brandy/rum.

The extra 30 pounds, people pay me to do.

The 50 pounds for my husbands clients are worth it, as we would buy them something anyways. This is just better and cheaper with me making them myself.

About 20 pounds I use as teacher gifts, pediatrician gift, hair lady, ups driver, usps, trashman, etc. gifts.

Very kind of you to give such nice gifts - something they might not buy and always nice to have during holidays and afterwards.
