Bringing my wife and children for the Friday 2 pm game and they love chargrilled and baked oysters. Can anyone give me suggestions for after the game?

The chargrilled at City Cafe are good, but they're a little too pungent. The taste will be on your breath for the rest of the day.

One of the few things I like at Mason's Grill are their baked oysters. Simple, but tasty.

I thought they did, but i don't see it on the menu. Parrains and Acme do for sure.

Oysters Lagniappe at Louisiana Lagniappe is money. Louisiana Lagniappe has some of the best seafood in BR, IMHO.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I am looking for a place with as many varieties of chargrilled and baked as possible. I first got my wife and children to try oysters at Hunt's in Panama City Beach Fla., which had about seven different varieties of baked and they fell in love with them. My oldest daughter called from the beach with friends and asked for the name so she could take them. That got my cravings going so I was hoping to take the wife and remaining children for some in Baton Rouge. Appreciate the help.

Chimes doesn't have chargrilled or baked. Just raw.

Parrains is a good option.

Mansurs has really good chargrilled but I don't know if I would go there after a game. Maybe keep this place in mind for another time.

Don't go to Acme

Mansur's chargrilled are some of the best I've had, but they don't do a "variety" of oysters. I like to sit in the bar and eat them.

Galatoire's Bistro has oysters rock that are terrific. My favorite of any I've ever had. It also has fried oyster salad and poboys for lunch and en brochette on the dinner menu.

You can sit at the bar and watch them being made.

Mike Andersons is serving some of the worst food in BR. IMO they have fallen below Drusilla seafood. I only took a second bite of their crawfish bisque because I just couldn't believe just how horrible it was.

Did City Café change their recipe? They were my favorite chargrilled but last trip there was a noticeable change.

The bar has plenty of tables from which you can still see them chargrill the oysters. I've brought underage kids to eat at the tables several times.
