Wish I had saved a few bottles of the gold and SFTB.

Got a bottle of Gold from a friend that went to Canada luckily. I will be heading out of the country soon, hope to see some Gold or especially SFTB.

Same. If you can't go into a liquor store and find a good bottle of bourbon, that's on you. You may not find the specific one you're hoping to find, but I've never been to a liquor store and not found a good bottle of bourbon on the shelves.

Chicken Cock

Its higher than your $$ range, and youll have to order it (not available in La), but its a really good bourbon, and pretty unique.

Also, it should be the official bourbon of tigerdroppings.

They do make a cheaper one, but I haven't tried it, yet.

Blanton's. But that is very hard if not impossible to find in the average or above average liquor store.

That must be a TX thing because grocery stores and gas stations elsewhere have it on the reg.

The clerk told me they get a case now and then, and they put out only one bottle at a time to avoid hoarders. Odd, because I see a fair bit of it on the shelf at two other places.

Where are you seeing Blanton’s in Shreveport/Bossier? Haven’t seen any on the shelves in a couple of years.

My local liquor store (in MS) keeps it in stock, but they keep it in the back. You have to ask for it at the counter. I often wonder what else they have in the back.

I'm very fond of the Willet bourbons, especially this one:

Granted I only go to the liquor stores here in Bama once or twice a year, but it's been at least 3 or 4 years since I've seen Blanton's on the shelves here. It's been so long I honestly can't even remember when it was. I don't think its scarcity matches its quality. It's a great bourbon, don't get me wrong, but it's not one I'd drive all over town in search of. There are at least a handful of bourbons at that price point I prefer.

Sam's has it in DS for $26.

Might be the smoothest bourbon I've ever had

I have had smoother bourbon but not better tasting. Tastes like the ocean smells.

Nothing better than watching the sunset in the Keys sipping Jefferson's Ocean after a day offshore fishing.
