I have the same problem. I’m either making shrimp etouffee or shrimp and grits.

"Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it."

Do a lemon garlic sautée with some crusty French bread. Save the heads and hulls for a stock.

Slice the vein out

Put them on a cookie sheet

Mix melted butter, salt and Cajun seasonings and spread it generously over the shrimp

Broil it on med for about 10 minutes, give or take a couple of minutes

Cut some fresh corn off the cob for shrimp & corn soup, made with the first of local tomatoes.

Old school shrimp salad—like a chicken salad, only w/coarsely chopped boiled shrimp.

Crazy good, and completely retro, shrimp mold: boiled small shrimp, chopped, w/mayo, canned tomato soup, gelatin, seasonings, etc...its pastel pink like a 1950s tiled bathroom and delicious on buttery captain’s wafer crackers. Bonus if it’s molded into the shape of a shrimp. (Ring mold or loaf pan if you aren’t competing)

Devein med/large through the shell by splitting down the back, toss with a stupid amount of sliced garlic, bread crumbs, olive oil, and finely chopped fresh parsley—broil until the shrimp will peel easily.

Dueling remoulades: red and white.

Try the Pasta Rosa recipe in the recipe collection. It's glorious.

Emeril's shrimp scampi

Cooked this recently with some 16-20 ct. It's really good, but I might increase the seasoning amounts by 50-75% next time.

I know I'm a day late, but wanted to mention what worked out great for me the last time I was looking to do something different with some biggies. I bought a bundle of Kale and wilted it in the drippings of some rendered bacon. Then added a jar of Maya Kaimal coconut curry, brought it to a boil and added peeled and deveined skrimps and cooked them until they were just barely done. Served over rice. Quick, easy, and wife loved it.
