Was super impressed with Longway Tavern in the Quarter, and I highly doubt you need a reservation right now. It is casual a cocktail bar with some pretty outstanding food.
The poached shrimp were added to the menu the day I went, and it was a phenomenal dish. Even the chips are made of actual shrimp.

Uber to compere Lapin, sit at the bar, grab a cocktail and small plate. Then gimp to Meril around the corner and do the same. Then gimp to Gianna a stones throw away and do the same
