My ciabatta roll at TJ Ribs was a hockey puck.

Ordered a brisket sandwich and the ciabatta bread was so hard I could not eat it. Did not send it back, just asked for a sourdough roll. Once I transferred the brisket I honestly could not bend the bottom roll at all. Completely unacceptable IMO.

Honestly you should've talked to manager. Beuxnes on Acadian would've made it right. It's not making a fuss if handled appropriately and he would've definitely like to have known.

So you don't let them know what's wrong so they can fix it, but can't wait to get home and blast them on the Internet? Seems fair.

Quit complaining, ciabatta is the Italian word for hockey puck. You got what you ordered.

This. Podnuh's is right up there with Johnny's as far as delicious cuisine from the culinary mecca of Monroe.

Why didn't you send it back? Is this a woman thing where you just don't want to be difficult. My wife is the same way in that she'd rather just grin and eat the meal then send back something subpar. She doesn't like to "cause a scene." I, on the other hand, have no problem sending back a dish, politely of course

Madam, look in the rules. Nobody can say anything bad about TJ Ribs.

Not even you.

I was about to post this. Beauxnes has been kind of absent from here, so the TJ Ribs-mania that gripped the board about a year ago has died down.

I still love their beef ribs, though over priced, but no place is above getting blasted on the internet. It's what this board is for.

I seriously doubt her thread has caused any damage to TJ Rib's sales.

If anyone is one here who works there/owns it, stop using the shitty ciabatta roll!

Sorry it took me so long to respond.

It was acadian location. My stepson is moving and he loves ribs and had never been so we brought him to see all the LSU things and get his ribs.

I told the waitress what the problem was but did not send the food back to the kitchen. I just requested a new roll to be brought to the table.

I love ciabatta bread so I am familiar with the fact that it is not a soft bread. Big difference between a chewy, crusty bread and a hockey puck. I could not bend the bread at all. My husband had to put some effort into breaking a piece off and it broke off in a chunk like you would break styrofoam or something.

not surprised ..

and the same sandwich would be totally different at siegen .. i have always said this .. it is like they are two entirely different restaurants .. i gave up on eating at the acadian location .. the food at siegen is very good, imo ..

much much much better .. i have given acadian its last three chances in my last three visits .. the first two times, i was served a cold steak, and the last time, i got an order of beef ribs that was literally two pieces of fat .. never have those problems at siegen at all .. and the staff over there, particularly behind the bar, is very very good ..
